Dolce Pools
Pool builder in Mansfield, Texas
Details not confirmed
Modern, custom-designed pools are the focus here, built across the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex since 2008. The team has been involved in the design, construction and renovation of well over 2,600 pools and has won regional and national design awards, including the APSP Region 3 competition. Dolce Pools builds only custom in-ground gunite pools and does not install above-ground models. Projects also include spas and wider backyard makeovers. The company works with several lenders and can recommend one to suit a homeowner's situation. Most builds finish within two to three months once excavation starts, with engineering, permitting and HOA approvals handled beforehand. Based in Mansfield.

Licensing and insurance
Licensing in Texas. Texas has no state license for swimming pool contractors, so there is no state register to check a pool builder against. What is licensed is the sub-work: pool plumbing and gas lines must be done by a plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and pool electrical by an electrician licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio also require contractor registration with the city before permits are issued.
Dolce Pools's website does not say whether the company is licensed or insured. Ask for the plumber's and electrician's license numbers and a certificate of insurance before signing.
