PoolsXtreme
Pool builder in Fulshear, Texas
Details confirmed
A second-generation, family-owned Houston-area builder focused on custom gunite pools for Katy, Fulshear, Sugar Land, and Houston. Pools are drawn without templates and can include tanning ledges, baja shelves, integrated spas, raised bond beams, LED lighting, app-based automation, waterfalls, sheer descents, and fire features. A separate renovation line covers resurfacing, new plaster or pebble, tile and coping updates, deck updates, depth conversions, and energy-efficient equipment. Clients receive a 3D concept and an itemized proposal, and the company can walk them through financing options. Permits are submitted by the builder, though HOA submittals are left to the homeowner.

Licensing and insurance
Licensing in Texas. Texas has no state license for swimming pool contractors, so there is no state register to check a pool builder against. What is licensed is the sub-work: pool plumbing and gas lines must be done by a plumber licensed by the
Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and pool electrical by an electrician licensed through the
Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio also require contractor registration with the city before permits are issued.
PoolsXtreme's website does not say whether the company is licensed or insured. Ask for the plumber's and electrician's license numbers and a certificate of insurance before signing.
