Signature Outdoor Living
Pool builder in Frisco, Texas
Details not confirmed
Backyard work in Frisco is the focus here, with a name that points to outdoor living projects. Customers associate the company with turf installation, sod, gutter connections and patio work, along with the occasional swimming pool tile repair. Quick response and attention to detail come up as strengths, as does the overall quality of the finished work. Nothing published describes whether it builds pools from the ground up, so it is best approached as a general outdoor and landscape-style contractor in the Frisco area.

Licensing and insurance
Licensing in Texas. Texas has no state license for swimming pool contractors, so there is no state register to check a pool builder against. What is licensed is the sub-work: pool plumbing and gas lines must be done by a plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and pool electrical by an electrician licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio also require contractor registration with the city before permits are issued.
Signature Outdoor Living's website does not say whether the company is licensed or insured. Ask for the plumber's and electrician's license numbers and a certificate of insurance before signing.
