Stellar Sales
Pool remodel, repair or service business in Argyle, Texas
Details not confirmed
A manufacturers' sales agency formed in 1995, operating from Bartonville in the Argyle area north of Dallas–Fort Worth. Rather than building pools, it represents product lines to builders, retailers, service providers, sub-contractors and OEMs, with separate pages for commercial and outdoor living segments. The agency has received recognition from several manufacturers it represents and publishes a catalog of its product lines. It suits trade buyers looking for supplier representation rather than homeowners seeking a pool builder.

Licensing and insurance
Licensing in Texas. Texas has no state license for swimming pool contractors, so there is no state register to check a pool builder against. What is licensed is the sub-work: pool plumbing and gas lines must be done by a plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and pool electrical by an electrician licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio also require contractor registration with the city before permits are issued.
Stellar Sales's website does not say whether the company is licensed or insured. Ask for the plumber's and electrician's license numbers and a certificate of insurance before signing.
