Water Scapes, Inc.
Pool builder in Boyd, Texas
Details not confirmed
Custom pools designed to match a home's architecture, from modern to Mediterranean, are the focus of this Dallas–Fort Worth builder, operating since 2001. The process starts with the home's architecture and interior design, then extends outdoors so the pool and outdoor living space feel part of one plan. Engineering is tailored to the region's expansive clay soil, with piers, steel and shotcrete specified for it, and one dedicated team handles a project from layout to fill. Featured projects are completed in collaboration with architects, landscape designers and builders. The company also supports water charities and pool-industry community initiatives.

Licensing and insurance
Licensing in Texas. Texas has no state license for swimming pool contractors, so there is no state register to check a pool builder against. What is licensed is the sub-work: pool plumbing and gas lines must be done by a plumber licensed by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners, and pool electrical by an electrician licensed through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio also require contractor registration with the city before permits are issued.
Water Scapes, Inc.'s website does not say whether the company is licensed or insured. Ask for the plumber's and electrician's license numbers and a certificate of insurance before signing.
